Liftbrief / Expert Q&A
How should interviews become a buyer-owned decision file?
Use the answers to produce a short, portable record—not a promotional ranking.
| Decision stage | Proposed minimum record | Escalation question |
|---|---|---|
| Before a programme deposit | Entity, access conditions, funding treatment, refund and exit terms | What exposure remains unsupported or unacceptable? |
| Before accepting a flight proposal | Mission, comparable known cost, unresolved charges, disclosures and delivery terms | Are we comparing the same promise? |
| Before departure | Actual carrier and aircraft evidence, relevant flight-specific checks and contacts | Has a substitution invalidated an earlier check? |
| After travel | Final invoice, changes, disruption handling and actual arrival outcome | Did delivery match the purchasing assumptions? |
Suggested closing question for every expert: “What would you refuse to approve on the evidence available today, and what specific document or action could change that answer?”
Publication checklist
- Label editorial frameworks separately from interview responses.
- Confirm each contributor’s current title and relevant commercial interests.
- Obtain approval for quotations and permission for any case material.
- Record the product version, contract date and evidence date.
- Separate legal requirements from negotiated buyer protections.
- Identify unknowns without turning them into accusations.
- Remove passenger identities, sensitive itineraries and unnecessary personal information.
- Avoid universal hourly-price, break-even, reliability or savings claims unsupported by comparable evidence.
