US Private Aviation Market Data and Deal Flow: October 2026 Buyer Briefing
US Private Aviation Market Data and Deal Flow
Prepared for Daniel Gibbs’s Corporate Travel and Private Aviation Research desk
Research cut-off: 16 October 2026. All monetary amounts are USD.
What should private-flight buyers take from the market now?
Compare the complete mission and the commitment—not a market growth headline or an advertised hourly rate. The evidence shows continued flight activity growth, lower average jet-card pricing in the latest quarter, and substantial investment in aircraft and aviation infrastructure. These are different indicators: none establishes that a particular aircraft will be available, that a programme is financially protected, or that an individual quotation is competitive. (globaljetcapital.com)
For procurement teams, executive offices and family offices, this report separates five things frequently mixed together:
- Travel expenditure: what customers spend across transport, accommodation and other travel services.
- Flight-service revenue: what operators, brokers and programmes recognise from supplying aviation services.
- Flight activity: departures or flight hours, rather than customer expenditure.
- Aircraft transactions: purchases of capital assets, rather than annual travel consumption.
- Corporate deals: acquisitions, financing and equity investment, rather than aircraft orders.
This is the desk’s analytical framework. Figures below retain their original geography, measurement period and definition; they should not be added across these categories.
How large is the US private aviation market?
A defensible public total for this desk’s exact market—US passenger private-flight services, excluding aircraft purchases and avoiding reseller double counting—was not established in this research. Public estimates exist for broader air charter services, but their scope and methodology do not justify presenting them as a precise private-jet procurement market.
Which market-size figures can buyers actually cite?
| Market or measure | Figure and measurement period | Publication date and source | How to use it |
|---|---|---|---|
| US business travel, broad adjacent market | $423.0bn forecast for 2026 | GBTA, 3 August 2026. (gbta.org) | Budget context only; not private aviation revenue. |
| Global business travel | $1.71tn forecast for 2026, up 7.2%; trip volume forecast to rise 1.3% | GBTA, 3 August 2026. (gbta.org) | Demonstrates why expenditure growth should not be confused with volume growth. |
| US air charter services, commercial research estimate | $7.59bn for 2024; $8.09bn for 2025 | Market Research Future public synopsis, updated 24 August 2026. (marketresearchfuture.com) | Low-confidence contextual estimate. Coverage includes passenger and freight applications. |
| US air charter services, alternative commercial estimate | $9.2bn for 2024 | Global Industry Analysts report listing, 1 October 2025. (marketresearch.com) | Alternative publisher estimate, not an independently reconciled measurement. The report also covers passenger and freight charter. |
| US passenger private-flight services; separate card, fractional and management-fee pools | Not independently established | Desk evidence assessment at 16 October 2026 | Do not substitute aircraft sales, broad business travel or economic-impact figures. |
Do not turn the two charter estimates into a statistical confidence interval. They are different publishers’ estimates, not the upper and lower bounds of one methodology. Market Research Future’s public page also gives inconsistent forecast growth figures—6% in its summary and 6.6% elsewhere—so this desk does not adopt its CAGR as a planning assumption. (marketresearchfuture.com)
The earlier desk planning ranges are therefore not treated as verified market measurements in this report. A more useful procurement evidence base is the combination of measured flying, disclosed supplier results, programme prices and comparable mission quotations.
What would a better services-market estimate require?
The desk recommends building any future estimate from customer expenditure or consistently defined supplier revenue—not a mixture of both. At minimum, the model should:
- Separate passenger flying from cargo and other charter applications.
- Distinguish US-origin missions, US customers and US-domiciled suppliers.
- Eliminate duplicate counting between brokers, programmes and operating carriers.
- Separate aircraft-share purchases from recurring access and operating charges.
- Distinguish management fees from reimbursed aircraft operating expenditure.
- Keep prepaid cash receipts separate from recognised revenue and flights delivered.
Until those reconciliations exist, a precise-looking total would overstate what the evidence supports.
Is US private flying growing, and which volumes matter?
The clearest annual procurement-relevant series found is US charter and fractional jet departures. WINGX data published by Private Jet Card Comparisons show the following trajectory; the source includes jets and VIP airliners, not a complete turboprop market. The article displays a publication date of 9 January 2026, although its URL contains 8 January. (privatejetcardcomparisons.com)
| Calendar year | US charter/fractional departures |
|---|---|
| 2019 | 997,643 |
| 2022 | 1,392,316 |
| 2024 | 1,359,749 |
| 2025 | 1,448,409 |
Source for every row: WINGX for Private Jet Card Comparisons, published January 2026. These are the source’s combined charter/fractional categories, not charter-only customer bookings. (privatejetcardcomparisons.com)
Desk calculation: the published counts imply 6.5% growth from 2024 to 2025, rounded to one decimal place. That calculation uses the reported counts rather than the article’s rounded 6% description. Departures are not passenger numbers or occupied, billable hours; they should not be multiplied by a jet-card hourly rate to manufacture a revenue estimate. (privatejetcardcomparisons.com)
What does the more recent activity evidence say?
| Indicator | Measurement period | Reported result | Source and date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Global business-jet departures | First half of 2026 | +3.4% year on year | Global Jet Capital’s Q2 brief, using WINGX; published August 2026. (globaljetcapital.com) |
| North American business-jet departures | Q2 2026 | +4.9% year on year | Same brief; North America is not US-only. (globaljetcapital.com) |
| Global business-jet departures | 5–11 October 2026 | Just over 81,400, +0.4% year on year | WINGX bulletin headline, 14 October 2026. (wingx-advance.com) |
Buyer interpretation: annual and quarterly growth do not mean every week, cabin class or supplier is strengthening. The latest weekly headline indicates slower growth, but one week is insufficient evidence for a sustained downturn. The full underlying October bulletin was not accessible in this research; no US-specific October conclusion is inferred from its headline.
For a recurring charter buyer, the useful follow-up is not “Is private aviation growing?” It is: “How has the delivered price and availability of our actual missions changed?” Request the same routes, passenger loads, notice periods and cancellation protections from competing suppliers.
Where is supply concentrated, and are more aircraft arriving?
Large programme operators account for substantial flying, but scale is not a substitute for mission-specific terms. SherpaReport’s WINGX-based review, dated 4 March 2026, reports the following North American jet departures for 2025; turboprops are excluded. (development.sherpareport.com)
| Operator | 2025 North American jet departures | Reported annual change |
|---|---|---|
| NetJets | More than 419,000 | +9.6% |
| Flexjet | Approximately 168,000 | More than +16% |
Source: SherpaReport/WINGX, 4 March 2026. These operating-volume figures are not revenue market shares or counts of aircraft available for outside charter. (development.sherpareport.com)
Procurement implication: ask how the supplier’s scale benefits your agreement—replacement obligations, aircraft substitution, simultaneous aircraft access and peak-date treatment. Do not award a supplier a better safety or recovery score merely because its departure count is larger.
What do new-aircraft deliveries show?
| Supply measure | Result | Measurement and publication dates |
|---|---|---|
| Worldwide business-jet shipments | 854 aircraft; +11.8% | Calendar 2025; GAMA results released 18 February 2026. (gama.aero) |
| Worldwide business-jet shipments | 383 aircraft | First half of 2026; GAMA report dated 3 September 2026. (gama.aero) |
| Comparable first-half baseline | 354 aircraft | First half of 2025, calculated as 141 in Q1 plus 213 in Q2 from GAMA’s year-end report. (gama.aero) |
| First-half shipment growth | 8.2% | Desk calculation: 383 ÷ 354 − 1. (gama.aero) |
These are global manufacturer shipments, not net additions to US charter availability. GAMA’s broader airplane billings also include non-jet aircraft; they should not be labelled private-flight services revenue. (gama.aero)
A useful forward signal comes from NetJets’ careers page, which advertises more than 80 aircraft inbound in 2026. This is a company delivery expectation on an undated recruitment page, reviewed for this report—not independently verified deliveries or net fleet growth. (netjets.com)
What does aircraft transaction activity tell owners and fractional buyers?
The asset market remains distinct from the flight-purchasing market. Global Jet Capital’s Q2 2026 brief reports substantial manufacturer backlogs and limited listed inventory, while warning that transaction figures remain preliminary. (globaljetcapital.com)
| Asset-market indicator | Period | Reported figure |
|---|---|---|
| Manufacturer order backlogs | End-Q2 2026 | $66.8bn; +20.4% year on year |
| Pre-owned transaction units | First half of 2026 | −7.5% year on year, preliminary |
| Pre-owned transaction dollar volume | First half of 2026 | +7% year on year, preliminary |
| Business-jet fleet available for sale | End-Q2 2026 | 6.6% |
| Availability among aircraft aged 12 years or less | End-Q2 2026 | 3.7% |
Source for every row: Global Jet Capital, Q2 2026 Market Brief, published August 2026. Backlogs, transaction estimates and inventory availability measure different things. (globaljetcapital.com)
Separately, IADA’s 27 July 2026 release reported 21% first-half growth in its dealers’ transactions. That association-member result is not interchangeable with Global Jet Capital’s broader preliminary series. Different coverage and reporting stages prevent a clean reconciliation from the public material reviewed. (iada.aero)
Buyer interpretation: neither a rising transaction value nor an industry inventory percentage establishes the price of a specific aircraft. For ownership or fractional exit analysis, request model-, age- and condition-matched evidence, contractual repurchase deductions and realistic selling-period assumptions.
How much does it cost to charter a private jet in 2026?
Public hourly prices are useful screening benchmarks, not binding mission prices. Paramount Business Jets’ cost guide, updated 13 October 2026, says its base rates include aircraft, crew, fuel and insurance, while additional taxes and fees depend on the trip. (paramountbusinessjets.com)
The table deliberately places two non-equivalent price series together. The charter column is one broker’s published indicative range; the card column is a cross-programme average with different inclusions and contractual conditions. The gap between columns is not a measured jet-card premium.
| Aircraft category | Indicative charter base rate, USD/hour — Paramount, 2 October 2026 | Average guaranteed jet-card rate, USD/hour — end-Q3 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Turboprop | $2,300–3,500 | $5,022 |
| Very light jet | $2,900–3,400 | $7,341 |
| Light jet | $3,750–4,200 | $8,333 |
| Midsize jet | $4,700–5,500 | $9,607 |
| Super-midsize jet | $6,200–7,500 | $12,485 |
| Large-cabin/large jet | $8,500–10,000 | $14,791 |
| Ultra-long-range jet | $12,000–17,000 | $19,433 |
Charter figures: Paramount’s 2 October 2026 guide. Card figures: Private Jet Card Comparisons, published 5 October 2026. Category boundaries are not necessarily identical; Paramount also publishes a separate super-light category. (paramountbusinessjets.com)
The card analysis covers entry-level programmes below 50 hours with guaranteed availability and rates; its hourly figures include base charges, fuel surcharges and 7.5% federal excise tax. It is not a transaction-weighted index of all private flying. (privatejetcardcomparisons.com)
What are plausible route-level planning ranges?
| Mission | Aircraft category in supplier example | Supplier’s indicative one-way total |
|---|---|---|
| New York–Miami | Light jet | $17,000–20,000 |
| New York–Los Angeles | Super-midsize | $40,000–45,000 |
| New York–London | Large jet | $95,000–110,000 |
Source and date: Paramount Business Jets, 2 October 2026. The supplier describes these examples as all-inclusive and drawn from its booking data. They are estimates, not executable offers for specified airports, dates or aircraft. (paramountbusinessjets.com)
For a New York to Miami private jet cost comparison, require the airport pair, departure window and passenger/baggage brief. For New York to Los Angeles private jet nonstop procurement, make operator-confirmed non-stop feasibility a separate acceptance condition rather than inferring it from a category-level price.
What belongs in a private jet charter quote comparison?
The desk recommends three separate columns—not one supposedly complete number:
| Comparison column | What the buyer should record |
|---|---|
| Known expenditure | Flight charge, billable hours, positioning, taxes and itemised included fees. |
| Unpriced or conditional expenditure | De-icing, additional waiting, itinerary changes, overnight costs and any open-ended airport or handling charges. |
| Delivery conditions | Operating carrier, aircraft substitution, cancellation, recovery responsibility and payment/refund terms. |
Paramount’s published guide identifies positioning, crew overnights and landing fees among items outside its headline hourly rates. Use that as a reminder to ask for itemisation, not as evidence that every supplier charges those items separately. (paramountbusinessjets.com)
Are jet cards becoming cheaper—and does that make them better value?
Average published rates fell, but that does not establish a like-for-like reduction for your programme. At end-Q3 2026, the overall North American jet-card average was $10,958 per hour, down 3.1% quarter on quarter and 2.7% year on year, but 23.7% above Q4 2019. The figures were published on 5 October 2026. (evaint.com)
There are two important qualifications:
- The sample changed. Private Jet Card Comparisons attributes much of the turboprop average’s fall to OneFlight’s exit from the analysis and the suspension of PlaneSense PC-12 card sales. This is not evidence that every continuing turboprop programme cut its rate. (privatejetcardcomparisons.com)
- Usage rules also changed. The same analysis reports average daily minimums rising 2.2% in Q3, despite lower average hourly pricing. Short-mission buyers should therefore compare minimum billable time as well as the rate. (privatejetcardcomparisons.com)
What can unused hours do to effective cost?
Illustrative desk calculation, not a product quotation: 25 hours at the Q3 light-jet benchmark of $8,333 equals $208,325. If only 20 hours were used and the remaining value became irrecoverable, effective expenditure would be $10,416 per used hour, rounded—25% above the headline rate. The source benchmark already includes federal excise tax; the utilisation and irrecoverability assumptions are hypothetical. (privatejetcardcomparisons.com)
For a jet card vs charter cost review, calculate the cost of the buyer’s expected missions under each agreement. Then stress-test fewer flying hours, more short sectors, peak-date travel and cancellation. Do not assume that expiry, refunds or unused-hour treatment are uniform.
How should fractional ownership and aircraft management costs be compared?
An occupied hourly fee is not the whole fractional cost. NetJets’ published cost explanation separates monthly management fees, occupied hourly charges and other cost components. Its management fee covers indirect operating costs, while its occupied hourly fee covers specified direct costs. The page was reviewed for this report on 16 October 2026. (netjets.com)
The desk recommends comparing two outputs:
- Cash commitment: acquisition payment, recurring fees, usage charges, other payments and eventual sale proceeds, shown by year.
- Economic cost: depreciation or capital loss, financing or explicitly assumed opportunity cost, recurring charges and usage charges over the comparison period.
Do not add both the full acquisition price and depreciation to the same economic-cost calculation. Keep tax effects separate and subject to specialist review.
No sufficiently comparable, current public schedule of acquisition prices, management fees and exit values across major fractional providers was verified here. Likewise, no defensible national management-fee range was established. Written, aircraft-specific proposals remain necessary; a generic hourly “break-even” threshold would be misleading.
Which US private jet charter taxes need to be shown?
For taxable transportation of persons by air, the IRS’s June 2026 Form 720 instructions specify a 7.5% percentage tax and a $5.30 domestic segment tax for calendar 2026. For applicable charter flights, the segment tax is multiplied by the number of passengers transported. (irs.gov)
These are not universal additions to every private-flight invoice. The instructions identify exceptions, including relevant fractional-programme fuel-surtax treatment and rural-airport segment rules. Ask the supplier to show its tax treatment explicitly, and obtain specialist advice where the structure is unclear. Do not add federal excise tax again to a benchmark already stated to include it. (irs.gov)
Which recent deals and operational changes matter to buyers?
The notable activity spans infrastructure investment, fleet/customer acquisitions, financing and programme disruption. The register below is selective, not a complete M&A census. Transaction values, credit facilities, aircraft orders and asset balances are deliberately not aggregated.
| Date | Event and disclosed scale | Status and measurement caveat | Buyer relevance |
|---|---|---|---|
| 27 August 2026 | Apollo-managed funds acquired a significant interest in Atlantic Aviation; the transaction valued the business at nearly $10bn. KKR funds remained a substantial shareholder. | Completed investment announcement. Valuation is not the cash consideration paid for the stake. (ir.apollo.com) | Include airport handling, fuel and hangar charges in procurement—not just aircraft flight charges. |
| 14 July 2026 | flyExclusive completed its acquisition of Jet.AI aviation assets: two HondaJets, one Citation CJ4, jet-card customers, approximately $4.1m securing three 2027 CJ3 delivery positions, and $5.3m cash, among other assets. | Completed asset acquisition. These asset amounts are not the total purchase consideration; 2027 deliveries remain future capacity. (ir.flyexclusive.com) | A transferred customer should obtain written confirmation of balances, fulfilment and governing terms. |
| Q2 2026; reported 4 August | Wheels Up closed a $100m term loan and $68m aircraft financing facility. Subsequently, Delta extended availability of its $100m revolving commitment to 20 September 2028. | Financing, not revenue or a new equity investment; facility commitments are not interchangeable with unrestricted cash. (investors.wheelsup.com) | Assess deposit exposure separately from the existence of investor support. |
| 25 June 2026 | Flexjet announced the Gulfstream G500’s entry into its fleet and said it would gradually replace G450 aircraft. | In-service fleet change; no transaction value disclosed in the release. (flexjet.com) | Ask which aircraft type, configuration and substitution rights the proposed agreement actually provides. |
| September–October 2026 | Business Jet Traveler reported ONEflight’s operational pause in September; Private Jet Card Comparisons continued reporting on the paused business on 15 October. | Operational disruption, not an acquisition. This desk has not independently established customers’ recoveries or a definitive restart timetable. (bjtonline.com) | Reconfirm fulfilment and refund arrangements before further funding; do not treat prepaid access as equivalent to delivered travel. |
| 21 July 2025 — earlier strategic context | Flexjet closed an $800m equity investment led by L Catterton, with KSL and J. Safra participation. | Completed equity financing, outside the latest 12-month window. (flexjet.com) | Relevant capital history, but not a contractual guarantee to an individual customer. |
| 5 February 2025 — earlier capacity pipeline | Flexjet/Embraer agreement: 182 firm aircraft plus 30 options, with a headline value of up to $7bn at list prices, including support. | Multi-year order; not $7bn of annual flight revenue, realised cash expenditure or immediately available aircraft. (flexjet.com) | Distinguish firm aircraft from options and delivered fleet from announced capacity. |
Desk interpretation: capital is being deployed across both flight providers and the infrastructure they use, but announcements alone do not answer the buyer’s central question: what is protected in my contract if the provider, aircraft or itinerary changes?
What do disclosed supplier results reveal about counterparty risk?
Supplier performance is diverging; an industry growth statistic should not replace company-level diligence. These results are disclosed company figures, not a like-for-like market-share comparison.
| Supplier | Q2 2026 disclosure | Source date | Procurement reading |
|---|---|---|---|
| flyExclusive | Revenue $111.1m, up 22%; flight hours up 8%; adjusted EBITDA $4.2m. | 13 August 2026. (ir.flyexclusive.com) | Revenue grew faster than hours. Adjusted EBITDA is not net income or evidence that customer funds are protected. |
| Wheels Up | Revenue $182.0m, down 4%; gross bookings $241.8m, down 8%; net loss approximately $107m. | 4 August 2026. (investors.wheelsup.com) | Gross bookings and recognised revenue differ. Neither a loss nor financing support alone establishes the outcome of a specific prepaid agreement. |
Wheels Up also reported 99.4% completion and 86.8% arrival within 30 minutes for Q2. Its definitions exclude customer-initiated cancellations from completion and exclude cancelled flights from arrival punctuality. Ask competing suppliers for matching definitions before comparing service claims. (investors.wheelsup.com)
For substantial prepayments, the desk recommends requesting the contracting entity, custody arrangements, refund conditions, treatment of unused balances and relevant financial information. Where the amount is material, have counsel assess the actual contractual protection rather than assuming it from a brand name or funding announcement.
What should procurement do before the next booking or renewal?
Use the market data to improve the purchasing process—not to declare a universal cheapest provider. The following is the desk’s recommended approval checklist:
- Freeze the mission brief: airports, dates, passenger count, baggage, arrival deadline and acceptable stops.
- Compare total mission cost: distinguish occupied time, billable time, positioning, minimums, taxes and conditional charges.
- Test the aircraft promise: obtain written operator confirmation of the actual configuration and mission feasibility.
- Verify the operating carrier: the FAA’s Part 135 operator-and-aircraft resource supports searches by operator and registration; the FAA advises contacting the local Flight Standards District Office when a listing cannot be confirmed. The page was updated 2 September 2026. (faa.gov)
- Price disruption separately: require an explanation of replacement responsibility, substitution and additional payment exposure. Do not budget a fixed-deadline mission around an empty-leg discount without a documented fallback.
- Stress-test commitments: model expected usage, lower usage and peak-date concentration before buying hours or renewing a membership.
- Keep commercial alternatives visible: compare feasible itineraries and cash expenditure; record any assumed value of executive time separately.
Which indicators should this desk refresh next?
| Indicator | Suggested refresh | Decision it informs |
|---|---|---|
| Permissioned, like-for-like mission quotations | At each live procurement; aggregate periodically | Whether a particular quote is competitive. |
| Jet-card rates, minimums and peak rules | Quarterly and immediately before renewal | Whether the programme still fits actual flying. |
| Supplier financials and major financing events | Each reporting period and before material prepayment | Counterparty exposure and questions for finance/counsel. |
| Fleet deliveries and aircraft availability | Quarterly | Whether announced capacity has become usable supply. |
| Delivered service outcomes | After each trip | Whether the supplier fulfilled the promise purchased. |
These are desk recommendations, not claimed industry standards.
How strong is the evidence, and what remains unknown?
The evidence is strongest for manufacturer deliveries, reported company transactions, disclosed financial results and published programme prices. It is weaker for a deduplicated US services-market total, realised charter transaction prices and comparable recovery outcomes.
Methodological safeguards used in this report:
- Historical observations, forecasts, supplier estimates and desk calculations are labelled separately.
- US, North American and global figures retain their original geography.
- Price averages are not represented as live quotations or customer-weighted transaction indices.
- Closed deals are distinguished from orders, options and future deliveries.
- Commercial market-report summaries are included as estimates with limitations; their underlying models were not audited.
- Recruitment and podcast material was screened for leads and questions, not treated as measured customer demand or verified fleet availability.
- No savings, investment returns, safety outcomes or uninterrupted access are guaranteed.
Bottom line: the most valuable benchmark is a dated, mission-matched comparison of total expenditure, contractual protection and delivered service. Market growth and deal flow provide context; they do not replace that comparison.

FAQs
How large is the US private aviation market?
The research did not establish a deduplicated total for US passenger private-flight services excluding aircraft purchases. Public commercial estimates put the broader US air charter market at $7.59bn or $9.2bn in 2024, but their passenger/freight scope and differing methodologies mean they should not be presented as a precise private-jet market range. (marketresearchfuture.com)
Is US charter and fractional flying growing?
WINGX data published in January 2026 recorded 1,448,409 US charter/fractional jet departures in 2025, versus 1,359,749 in 2024. Those counts imply approximately 6.5% growth, calculated by the desk; they measure departures rather than customer expenditure. (privatejetcardcomparisons.com)
How much does a New York to Miami private jet cost?
Paramount Business Jets published an indicative one-way light-jet range of $17,000–20,000 on 2 October 2026. Treat this as a supplier planning estimate, not a live quote, and request pricing for the exact airports, dates, passenger load and contractual conditions. (paramountbusinessjets.com)
Are jet cards cheaper in 2026?
The average North American jet-card rate was $10,958 per hour at end-Q3 2026, down 3.1% from the previous quarter and 2.7% year on year. That published-rate average does not establish whether your own programme or mission is cheaper after minimums, peak rules and other conditions. (evaint.com)
Can I compare a jet-card hourly rate directly with a charter rate?
Not without normalising inclusions: the Q3 2026 card analysis includes fuel surcharges and federal excise tax, whereas published charter base rates can exclude taxes and trip-specific fees. Compare the same mission’s total payable cost and delivery conditions rather than treating the headline-rate difference as a premium or saving. (evaint.com)
Which federal taxes may apply to US private charter?
The IRS’s June 2026 instructions specify a 7.5% tax on taxable passenger air transportation and a $5.30 domestic segment tax for 2026, multiplied by passenger count for applicable charter flights. Exceptions exist, so obtain the supplier’s itemised tax treatment rather than adding these amounts indiscriminately. (irs.gov)
Do large aircraft orders guarantee better availability?
No: an order can include future deliveries and options rather than aircraft already in service, as illustrated by the Flexjet/Embraer agreement announced in February 2025. Ask what fleet and replacement commitments apply to your agreement today, rather than relying on the headline order value. (flexjet.com)
What should a family office check before making a large aviation prepayment?
The desk recommends documenting the contracting entity, custody arrangements, unused-balance treatment, refunds and fulfilment obligations before funding. ONEflight’s reported 2026 operational pause illustrates why access sold in advance and travel actually delivered should be assessed separately; this report does not establish individual customers’ recovery outcomes. (bjtonline.com)
Is there a reliable universal break-even point for fractional ownership?
No universal threshold is supported by the evidence reviewed here; NetJets’ own cost explanation separates recurring management charges from occupied hourly fees. A useful comparison must also account for acquisition and exit cash flows, utilisation and the specific agreement rather than comparing hourly fees alone. (netjets.com)
