5. What does a New York to Miami private jet cost?
Use a published route price only to establish a preliminary budget, then obtain an airport- and date-specific quotation. Paramount’s October 2026 table gives one-way New York–Miami indications of USD 17,000 for a light jet, USD 20,000 for a super-light jet and USD 23,000 for a midsize jet, described as including standard taxes and operating expenses. These are supplier estimates, not confirmed availability. (paramountbusinessjets.com)
For a defensible comparison, specify:
- The actual departure airport and acceptable alternatives.
- The Miami-area arrival airport and final ground destination.
- Passenger count and a realistic baggage list.
- Required arrival time—not simply a preferred departure time.
- One-way, same-day return or a return several days later.
- Whether an aircraft or airport substitution is acceptable.
Ask suppliers to price the same airport pair first. Then request an alternative-airport option separately so that a lower flight price does not conceal a less convenient ground journey.
For a return trip, request a written comparison of keeping the aircraft with the party versus sourcing separate flights. Do not assume that two one-way prices, or twice the outbound price, describe the actual return economics.
